Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Install and connect wiring, fixtures, and electrical components according to blueprints and safety codes.
- Test electrical systems to ensure they function correctly.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Use hand and power tools appropriate for the trade.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals) and ability to read a tape measure.
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and work in various weather conditions.
- No prior electrical experience is necessary; a strong work ethic is a must.
