Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure electrical systems are installed correctly and meet safety codes.
- Install and connect wiring, cables, conduits, and electrical components (outlets, switches, circuit breakers).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for and stored safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report progress and address any issues.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We value attitude and aptitude over experience. A willingness to learn is the most important qualification.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to travel to job sites within the region.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements, fractions, and reading scales.
- Handyman Skills: Familiarity with basic tools (screwdrivers, drills, measuring tapes) is a plus but not required.
- Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a focus on quality and punctuality.
