We are currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Electrician Apprentices. As an entry-level Electrician, you will work closely with our senior journeyman electricians to gain hands-on experience in residential and commercial projects throughout the Kansas City metro area. This is an excellent opportunity to build a stable, well-paying career in a growing industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and wiring.
- Prepare and organize work sites, ensuring all tools, materials, and safety equipment are readily available.
- Learn to interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure safety compliance.
- Remove old wiring, fixtures, and equipment in preparation for new installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- No experience required. A strong desire to learn the trade is essential.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
