Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure strict compliance with local and national safety codes.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical work to identify and rectify potential issues before they become problems.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
- Maintain and organize job site tools and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues to clients clearly and professionally.
- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical field.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Current Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety standards.
