Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and fixtures to ensure safety compliance.
- Organize and manage job sites, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely.
- Prepare materials for projects, including cutting, measuring, and assembling wiring.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic physical fitness to handle climbing, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
