Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including running conduit, installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with local building codes.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Document work completed and report any issues or material shortages to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience is required. We are looking for motivated individuals ready to learn.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physically able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and calculating material quantities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
