As a part-time Apprentice, you will work alongside our certified Journeyman Electricians, gaining hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical systems. This is the perfect opportunity for those ready to build a stable future in a thriving industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring, outlet and switch installation, and fixture mounting.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Ensure all work sites are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations (OSHA).
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- No prior electrical experience is required—we will train the right candidate.
