Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Shadow and support experienced electricians with residential and commercial installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret basic electrical plans and schematics under supervision to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
- Conduct Inspections: Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards, code violations, or wear and tear.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explaining technical issues in a clear, understandable manner.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure readiness for daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of measurements, fractions, and geometry.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Willingness: A strong desire to learn the trade, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
