Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute complex electrical projects.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial settings with precision.
- Ensure all work meets strict quality control standards and project timelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding project requirements and progress updates.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman or Master Electrician License is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and work from technical blueprints and drawings.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
