Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial installations and repairs.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate hand and power tools (drills, saws, conduit benders) safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation as trained.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required for this entry-level role.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain Journeyman licensure in the future.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
