Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform routine site inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace at all times.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment (voltmeters, multimeters) safely and accurately.
- Load and unload materials, fixtures, and supplies from delivery trucks.
- Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Document work completed and report material needs to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
