Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare and cut conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure safety compliance with OSHA and local codes.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Document work completed accurately in daily logs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, and measurements).
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights (if applicable).
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain required state certifications.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
