Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine site preparation, including digging trenches, pulling wire, and mounting outlets.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Use hand and power tools correctly and safely under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager and team members regarding progress and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior experience required; we are looking for raw potential and a willingness to learn.
- Must be physically able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
