Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, mounting outlets, installing light fixtures, and replacing switches.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Utilize hand and power tools (drills, saws, multimeters) effectively under supervision.
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Adhere to all local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; high school students with an interest in trades are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights (ladders/scaffolding).
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
