As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring that every site is safe, efficient, and ready for the next phase of construction.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision to assist with grading, excavating, or demolition tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all personnel.
- Clean-up: Perform daily cleanup of work areas, ensuring tools and materials are organized and the site is left in pristine condition.
- Trade Support: Support journeyman electricians, plumbers, and carpenters by fetching tools, mixing concrete, or performing basic assembly tasks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience as a laborer or general helper is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is a plus.
- License: Valid driverβs license and clean driving record required for site transport.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Teamwork: Strong willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse crew.
