Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Journeyman Electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by strictly following all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, terminating connections, mounting fixtures, and pulling cable.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained, cleaned, and stored properly after use.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensing and certifications upon completion of the apprenticeship program.
