Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including carpentry, drywall, and masonry.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely, adhering to all OSHA regulations.
- Perform site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow detailed blueprints and instructions to ensure quality workmanship.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to understand safety instructions and plans.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Virginia Beach worksite.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM).
- Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
