Responsibilities
- Execute Complex Installations: Perform high-quality wiring, circuit breaker installation, and fixture setup for both residential and commercial properties.
- Troubleshoot Systems: Diagnose and repair electrical faults, malfunctioning equipment, and power outages efficiently and safely.
- Read Blueprints: Interpret electrical plans and technical diagrams to ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere strictly to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect, test, and maintain electrical tools, vehicles, and test meters to ensure optimal performance.
- Customer Service: Provide clear communication to clients regarding project timelines and electrical system maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Illinois.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Technical school certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints and using electrical testing meters.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
