Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project specifications
- Perform safety inspections and recommend preventative measures
- Manage inventory and maintain organized workspaces
- Mentor junior electricians and support team objectives
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Clean driving record and valid Virginia driver's license
- Experience with energy-efficient systems preferred
