Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using modern testing equipment.
- Adhere to all local and national electrical codes and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Prepare accurate material lists and estimates for project managers.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in New Mexico.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
