Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial settings efficiently.
- Prepare and submit work orders for material requisitions and progress reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical concepts to clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in New York State (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and NEC codes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
