Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts and installations.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to ensure code compliance and safety standards.
- Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components using appropriate hand tools.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NFPA 70E).
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding progress and issues.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
