Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential hazards and ensure code compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and technical details.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Texas.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Tools: Must possess a comprehensive set of hand tools and be familiar with power tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose electrical faults and implement solutions quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
