Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with wiring, installation, and repair projects in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Test electrical systems to ensure they function properly using multimeters and testing equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and issues.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read measurements are essential.
- Strong willingness to learn new techniques and follow safety protocols strictly.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- No prior experience necessary; apprenticeship opportunities available for the right candidates.
