Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, fixtures, and wiring according to local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide professional service estimates.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future failures.
- Utilize hand and power tools, including multimeters, conduit benders, and wire strippers, with precision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical trade school certification preferred.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience in Tennessee.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
