Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts and installations.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Inspect electrical components, including circuit breakers, transformers, and other distribution systems, to identify hazards or defects.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with construction teams and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and workflows.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and standing for extended periods.
