Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to resolve faults efficiently.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with construction teams and other trades to ensure seamless project integration.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License in New York State.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
