Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Assist in the installation of wiring, fixtures, and electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing electrical infrastructure.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and National Electrical Code (NEC) safety standards at all times.
- Blueprint Reading: Learn to interpret blueprints and technical schematics under the guidance of senior electricians.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and work areas efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the foreman and crew to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a strong drive to master the trade.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required for site travel).
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic measurements and calculations.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
