Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Perform diagnostic testing on electrical systems to identify faults and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating progress and addressing client concerns.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical blueprints and technical manuals.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights, attics, and crawl spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
