Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed project estimates and work orders, ensuring accurate material and labor calculations.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times, strictly adhering to OSHA standards.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Current Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
