Responsibilities
- Perform Complex Installations: Execute high-quality electrical wiring, circuit installation, and troubleshooting for commercial and industrial projects.
- Night Shift Operations: Work independently during night hours to complete maintenance, repairs, and installations with minimal supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a zero-incident work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients and onsite personnel to explain technical issues and solutions clearly.
- Documentation: Accurately complete job logs, time sheets, and safety reports after every shift.
- Code Adherence: Ensure all work meets local Long Beach and California electrical codes (Title 24).
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (3rd shift).
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to commute to Long Beach, CA.
- Tools: Own or have reliable access to a comprehensive set of electrical tools.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
