Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical repairs and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and control systems.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks to ensure optimal facility operations and minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute installations accurately.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Install, maintain, and repair lighting systems, power distribution units, and safety sensors.
- Document all work orders, repairs, and inspections accurately in the company CMMS system.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve emergency electrical issues during night operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude with a focus on safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments including heights and confined spaces.
