Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential and commercial properties.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate work.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing accurate estimates and explaining technical details in plain language.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work completed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid California Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Tools: Proficiency in using hand and power tools associated with the trade.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments (climbing ladders, crawl spaces, attics).
- Background: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
