Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Perform high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- System Upgrades: Upgrade and retrofit existing electrical systems to meet modern energy efficiency standards.
- Client Communication: Provide clear, professional communication to clients regarding project timelines and requirements.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools, test equipment, and vehicles in excellent working condition.
- Emergency Response: Respond to and resolve electrical emergencies promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of New York.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; Technical certification or Associate degree preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, using diagnostic software, and operating power tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to workplace safety.
