Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in both residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine the appropriate layout of electrical circuits and equipment.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate project timelines clearly to clients and project managers.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Deep knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex technical drawings and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within the Omaha metro area.
