Responsibilities
- Perform Installation & Maintenance: Execute complex electrical installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial equipment in the Minneapolis area.
- Ensure Code Compliance: Adhere strictly to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations to ensure all work is safe and up to code.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to plan and execute wiring layouts accurately.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and system failures efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a zero-accident environment by following OSHA safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Client Communication: Provide exceptional service to clients, including on-site updates and clear explanations of work performed.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Minnesota.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Tools: Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for job site travel.
- Knowledge: Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (VOM, Megger, etc.) and industry-standard software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on safety and teamwork.
