Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines, material inventory, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients on complex installations
- Mentor junior electricians and uphold quality standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Texas electrician license (Journeyman/Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR training
- Proficiency in conduit bending, circuit design, and load calculations
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for emergency services
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Local Austin area residency preferred
