Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations and repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Test and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other tradespeople to meet strict project deadlines.
- Document all work completed and report material usage accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification in California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and understand complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
