Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections and testing to ensure electrical systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding project timelines and status.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for field work.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
