Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure all electrical equipment and wiring meet safety codes.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to diagnose and fix electrical issues.
- Prepare work areas by gathering materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Interact professionally with clients to explain technical issues and solutions.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
- Physically fit to climb ladders, lift heavy materials, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints and measuring materials.
