Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical manuals.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure they comply with safety codes.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure longevity and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical issues clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for fieldwork.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
