Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and safe job sites by removing debris and following OSHA guidelines
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, levels)
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and project specifications
- Perform physical tasks requiring stamina, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions
- Complete daily safety checklists and report hazards to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide comprehensive training!
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional overtime
