Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand/power tools under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE (hard hat, steel-toed boots, high-vis vest)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions from site supervisors
- Maintain organized job sites by sorting materials and disposing of debris properly
- Operate light machinery such as concrete mixers and power washers after training
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork and safety
