Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks, including carpentry, drywalling, and general site preparation.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and distribute them to the work area.
- Operate basic construction tools and power equipment (training provided).
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning the job site.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe according to OSHA standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (but not required for entry-level).
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- A strong desire to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
