Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot wiring, fixtures, and control systems under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Conduct electrical safety inspections and compliance checks
- Assist with emergency repairs and system upgrades
- Maintain clean, organized work sites and adhere to OSHA standards
- Document work orders and maintain project logs
- Collaborate with journeymen electricians on complex installations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and safety protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to pursue Oregon electrical certification
- Experience with hand/power tools preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
