Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and California regulations
- Perform routine inspections and safety tests on electrical equipment
- Assist senior electricians with troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Document work performed and maintain clean job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California Driver's License required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various physical conditions
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement concepts
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Willingness to obtain California Electrician Trainee certification
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Los Angeles County
