Responsibilities
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial/residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform circuit testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostic procedures
- Ensure all work adheres to NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain organized workspaces
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance audits
- Document work activities and maintain project records
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic understanding of electrical principles (through trade school/vocational training preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to safety protocols and PPE usage
- Willingness to obtain Washington State Electrical Trainee certification
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
