Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Title 24 standards
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits and equipment
- Collaborate with senior electricians on complex projects while learning industry best practices
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and complete detailed documentation
- Participate in ongoing safety training and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational school certification preferred
- Valid California Electrician Trainee (ET) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and fundamental circuit principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power equipment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions
