Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand circuit diagrams under supervision.
- Prepare job sites by gathering tools, materials, and safety equipment.
- Perform basic tasks such as bending conduit, stripping wire, and terminating outlets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
- Shadow senior technicians to learn best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No prior electrical experience required; we will train the right candidate.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain required state apprenticeship license.
- Strong desire to learn and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
