Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare and organize job sites, ensuring all tools and materials are ready for daily operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Perform basic wiring tasks including pulling wire, stripping ends, and connecting terminals.
- Install and secure conduits, junction boxes, and electrical boxes to code.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, strictly adhering to OSHA safety standards and company protocols.
- Document work orders and report any material shortages or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are essential.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Willingness to obtain an Electrician Apprenticeship license if not already held.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
